Better Tourism Academy started in September 2017 with a challenging traineeship program. The trainees were trained in the operational duties of a tour operator and on top of that they gained new insights in sustainable development of the tourism sector. In October the trainees departed to work at the local destinations, enjoying the challenges in a multi-cultural team.
”Better Places for people to live in,
Better Places to visit.”
“It is a diverse training and a good link to the tourism industry. Better Places is a nice and warm company, a good environment for motivated graduates. The training program of a month is a nice introduction to the position of trainee, be it in marketing or sales, before taking off to the DMC.”
Elena van Voorthuizen – trainee at Better Tourism Academy
The training covers a variety of themes and skills. You will learn about responsible travel, impact measurement, certification, but you will also learn how to write a good blog, create a vlog with simple tools, and create your own website.
